SmartSide is engineered wood. Hardie is fiber cement. SmartSide is lighter, tougher against impact, and looks closest to real wood. Hardie is fireproof, very stable, and holds paint a long time. Both are quality products. The right one depends on your house, your look, and your budget. We'll lay out the trade-offs at your estimate.

How do I know my siding needs replacing?

Cracked, warped, or loose boards. Soft or rotting spots, especially near the ground and around windows. Paint that keeps peeling. Moisture or mold showing up inside exterior walls. One bad section may just need repair. Widespread problems point to replacement.

Can you repair just one section?

Yes. We repair damaged sections and match the existing siding as closely as we can. If the rest of the siding is sound, there's no reason to replace all of it.

Does new siding come with a warranty?
